Good morning all !!! Sorry I’ve been really slacked on posting , been crazy round here 😜
I’m going to post notes on a sermon from a few weeks ago because it was one we all can use .
Pastor titled it as “THE FINGERS OF GOD” Duet 5:
1-22
Duet 5: 32-33 Be careful as the Lord has commanded you , that you may live . Duet chapter 6 focuses on keeping all the commandments
In Exodus 31:18 after speaking with Moses the Lord gave him two stone tablets (rock) written with the finger of God . Not some fancy gold embellished , extravagant tablet just stone and His finger !
in John 8: 1-12 when Jesus went to the Mt of Olives and came to the temple the men brought a woman caught in adultery to him and wanted her stoned as the law stated . They were testing him to find something they could accuse Him with . Twice as they went on with their questions Jesus just knelt down and drew in the dirt with his finger . He then rose up and said” Let he who is without sin , throw the first stone “, convicted by their conscience, one by one got up and left . He then asked the woman “where are your accusers, had no one condemned you ?” She replied “no one Lord “ Jesus replied “neither do I , go and sin no more “
One author thinks that he wrote in the sand / dirt so it could easily be erased , because he forgives are sin then erases it .
There are 3 important stages of salvation
#1 Know that he gave his life on Calvary in our place
#2 believe Jesus did this for us
#3 trust fully of his work on Calvary ( most important)
Remember the story of the prodigal son , this is how Jesus responds to us when we finally come to him and take those 3 steps ♥️♥️♥️

Good morning , I’m a little late getting our Sunday sermon notes posted for this week . Hope you can get outside and enjoy the pretty weather this week !🌞☀️
Pastor’s message title this week was “Passages”
(Psalm 107)
If your redeemed you know God is good . Oh if men would call out to the Lord for His goodness and be thankful, yet most of the time we wait until trouble is upon us .
Passages are parts of our voyages and journeys in life , some are good and some are bad . When they are not good ones we need to remember that scripture tells us that Jesus said”No one can sn**ch you out of my hands”!
Our greatest passage is the road home to Jesus. And no matter how tough it gets , He is there and has been through everything we are going through . Each day is a new dawn , we need to take it all in stride and live in the present while we trust in the Lord .
Pastor talked about the grief he went through at the passing g of his dear wife and how it as well was one of his passages . He described how God sent several things his way that showed him how to get out of himself and occupy his mind by spreading God’s word and loving others .
We will have trouble in this world but we need to hold on to God to navigate us through . We also need to keep our focus on spreading the name above all names to others .
Your last passage could be the toughest but so worth it all . He will conform us to Christ if we hang on to Him and His word . And at all times remember that love is the glue that hold all of us together ❤️⛅️

Pastor’s sermon was titled “Are we content “
2 Cor 12 : 7-10
From the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians .
Paul had a thorn in his flesh from Satan to torment him , many believe this could have been a physical ailment due to what other scriptures say . We ourselves have been so spoiled that we don’t know what true torment is.
Paul wrote all of the in the face of persecution….
Beatings, prison ,hardship , adversity’s, finding satisfaction in the Lord’s presence .
Psalm 78 Is reminding the Israelites of the miracles yet they kept sinning and rebelling against Him . All he had done for them yet they still complained and doubted . In spite of all His wondrous works they still doubted His deliverance when God’s anger arose up against them and Ge struck down the sturdiest and youngest of them but yet they still kept sinning .
They still would flatter him with their mouths yet lie to him. Yet he was still merciful and forgave their iniquities.
The question is does Jesus satisfy and is He worthy of our complete trust .In increasing times of evil , are we not to believe in his power .
Scripture says “He saves the uttermost . Stand still and see the exhortations of the Lord . Do not be afraid , stand still and see the salvation of the Lord . Lo I am with you to the end of the age .” He will quiet you and sing over His children.
Scripture says “call unto me and I will answer you “ , the condition is We NEED TO CALL UPON HIM ! But pride keeps us from doing it .
“. Call on me , I will answer you ! I will give you joy, hope, strength to carry on in this great battle .” Call upon the Lord , confess from the heart that is the Lord and you will be saved ❤️

Pastor Jack’s theme for today’s sermon was “ Why kick against the goads” Acts 26 : 1-23
An ox goad is an 8 foot piece of metal with a pointed tip , it was used to guide and direct oxen when and where you needed them to go . The ox would sometimes kick to resist and cause itself pain .
Ecc 12: 10-11 the words of the wise direct sinners and drives their conscience to repent .
A short story to help us understand this …..
There was a young Christian teenage girl who kept professing and teaching the word , no matter what it cost her .
Soldiers would sit around drinking until they were called upon to stop what the thought was chaos in their eyes , when this girl would be out professing the Lord and trying to stop them from burning bibles . She was arrested many times , beaten so hard the skin would be peeled off of her body . She’d be let out of jail and go right back to speaking the Lord’s word and the same drunken soldier would beat her and throw her in jail again and again .
Later on this soldier ended up on a ship in the worst of storms and had to jump ship , he managed to cling to a rock and in his terror he cried out to Jesus and begged for help . He was rescued from that terrible storm . He eventually was saved from this world when he met a pastor who led him to be saved .
Even though the man didn’t realize it at that time , the young girl he had beaten so many times all the while she refused to stop speaking the word of God had influenced a change of heart in this drunken ,mean soldier .
God’s purpose is to draw us in and not wound us. When we wonder from His word , he pricks us like the goad , not to harm us but to get our attention back to where it needs to be .
As children of God we will be chastened because he guides his children to follow him . We need to become warriors and spread His word ❤️⛪️
