There is a critical shortage of foster homes in the Des Moines metro area, and it means kids are being separated from their siblings and moved far from home.

We want to change that.

Our prayer is to see 81 new Christian foster families raised up this year.

You don’t have to be a foster parent to make a difference. You can:
-Join a Thrive Care Community (meals, babysitting, encouragement)
-Volunteer at our monthly Replanted support group
-Become a respite provider

✂️ The Ribbon is Officially Cut! ✂️

Yesterday was a historic milestone for the Valley Church family! During our Love You Des Moines Days festivities, we took a special moment to officially cut the ribbon on our brand-new, 23,000 square foot expansion at the Valley Community Center!

This ribbon cutting marks a new chapter for our church home and for serving our community neighbors, and we are so excited to fully open the doors to:
✨ The Sky Venue
✨ The Bridges Venue
✨ Our New Church Offices
✨ The Cole Leadership Center

This addition isn’t just about more square footage, it’s about creating more space to gather, grow, equip leaders, and serve our community for generations to come.

Thank you to everyone who dreamed, prayed, and gave to make this vision a reality.

Dads, you show up when it’s hard, stay grounded when it’s inconvenient, and sacrificially love regardless of what it costs.

Join us this Father’s Day as we celebrate and honor all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures in our community who faithfully show up and point the next generation toward Christ.

Bring the whole family for an encouraging message, great worship and time of connection.

Come early before the 8:15 am service at Valley Church and enjoy a free breakfast.
