Food Bank of Iowa happens today [Jan. 19] from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Due to the dangerously cold weather, we are not having a selection tonight. We are boxing up food and handing off a few sack per family. Food Bank customers, do not wait outside the door. Stay in your cars until 4:30 p.m., when we begin. Thank you!

The Dordt Univ. Concert Choir from Sioux Center, Iowa, invites you to a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Fri., Jan. 6, at Crossroads Fellowship CRC, 1200 60th St., West Des Moinesd, IA 50266. This free concert is part of a spring tour with performances scheduled in Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota. Directed by Dr. Rob Hobgood, the Dordt choir will perform a wide variety of choral music, including hymn arrangements, spirituals, classics from the modern choral repertoire, as well as past centuries, including Gabrielli, Handel and Clausen, and several compositions written within the last decade by talented young composers. The concert is free, with a freewill offering received to help defray tour expenses.

We will be having our Food Bank mobile pantry today [Aug. 15] starting at 4:30 p.m. Bring bags, laundry baskets, whatever you can take food in, and take advantage of the food we have to give away.

Our Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry will be on Mon., Apr. 18, starting at 4:30 and ending at 6 p.m. We will be giving out food inside the church this time. Come with your grocery bags, laundry baskets, or any good-sized container to carry out your food. We look forward to seeing you there.
