The Festival of Worship in Word and Song with Rev. Sen. Warnock and Mark Miller is rooted in the Martha's Vineyard community, gathering seasonal and year-round Islanders together in a Community Choir and supporting vital Island nonprofits. This year, a portion of the morning offering will go to Harbor Homes of Martha's Vineyard, and their vision of making homelessness on MV brief, rare, and non-recurring.

A concert on July 31 at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown offers a rare chance to hear new songs by composer, pianist and organist Mark Miller, sung by baritone Julian Wamble based on poems by Langston Hughes, Paul Laurence Dunbar and other writers.

Our friend and composer Mark Miller and singer Julian Wamble perform original art songs featuring poets Langston Hughes, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Wordsworth, and a text inspired by Maya Angelou. The concert will also include civil rights and justice songs for all to sing.

A portion of the concert’s proceeds will benefit FCCOWT and our work in the island community. Admission: suggested donation of $20.
