The diocese is reminding us this event is 31 days away! This past Sunday, on Pentecost, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage departed from St. Augustine, Florida as it makes its way to Philadelphia for the Fourth of July.
This once in a lifetime opportunity will be a tremendous chance for us as Catholics to witness to the faith and accompany Jesus on our own roads.
Rain or shine, we will welcome Jesus with Mass at 12 Noon at the Fr. Peyton Center, celebrated by Bishop da Cunha, on Monday, June 29th.
After a procession in Easton, the Pilgrimage will head to New Bedford that evening, before concluding in Fall River the following day and heading to Rhode Island.
Let them know you will be joining in!
As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, all ages and walks of life are welcome to join in prayer before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage travels across the country. In particular, this will come through our Diocese of Fall River on Monday, June 29th through Tuesday, June 30th.
