Please take note that there will not be a 4:00 pm or 7:00 pm Mass on that day. After Mass there will be a procession outside of the Church and end with Adoration and Benediction inside.

The diocese is reminding us this event is 31 days away! This past Sunday, on Pentecost, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage departed from St. Augustine, Florida as it makes its way to Philadelphia for the Fourth of July.

This once in a lifetime opportunity will be a tremendous chance for us as Catholics to witness to the faith and accompany Jesus on our own roads.

Rain or shine, we will welcome Jesus with Mass at 12 Noon at the Fr. Peyton Center, celebrated by Bishop da Cunha, on Monday, June 29th.

After a procession in Easton, the Pilgrimage will head to New Bedford that evening, before concluding in Fall River the following day and heading to Rhode Island.

Let them know you will be joining in!

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, all ages and walks of life are welcome to join in prayer before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage travels across the country. In particular, this will come through our Diocese of Fall River on Monday, June 29th through Tuesday, June 30th.

Congratulations to Daniel Alyondro Garcia for the Pope St. Pius X Youth Award nominated by Fr. Joseph, and awarded from Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, last evening at the Cathedral.

The awards are given to young persons from parishes throughout the Diocese of Fall River in recognition of their service to their parish. The Pope St. Pius X Youth award is named after Pope St. Pius X, founder of the Fall River Diocese in 1904, who had a great deal of devotion to the youth of the Church and all they had to offer. The award aims to recognize the commitment and selflessness of teens towards Christ, His Church, and local parish communities in the Church. Recipients must be confirmed, at least a sophomore in high school, and no older than 19 years old.

Thank you Daniel for your service and example to others in the parish! Well deserved! We see you in the back row!

Congratulations to the 2026 recipients of the Pope St. Pius X Youth Award from parishes across the Diocese of Fall River.
