What an incredible evening at West Point Police Department National Night Out & Back-to-School Bash! 💙🚓📚

Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. was honored to serve our community by providing free notary services, voter registration, sharing ministry resources, distributing health and wellness information through our Helping Hands Outreach Ministry and Wellstar Congregational Health Network, and connecting with families throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, signed up, shared a conversation, accepted prayer, or simply said hello. We are grateful for every opportunity to serve and be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.

A special thank you to the West Point Police Department and all of the event organizers for bringing our community together for such a wonderful night.

🚔🎒 National Night Out 2026:

Back to School Bash is almost here, and we couldn’t make this event possible without the incredible businesses, churches, nonprofits, and community organizations that stepped up to invest in the families of West Point.

This event is about much more than free food, door prizes, and school supplies. It’s about building relationships, strengthening neighborhoods, and showing our youth that an entire community believes in them!

Don’t forget to come in your swimsuits because the splash pad will be open and there will also be an inflatable water slide! 🌊 🏊‍♂️ 🚰

Today we’d like to recognize a few of the organizations helping make that possible:

❤️ West Point C.A.R.E.S. provides after-school programming that gives our youth a safe place to learn, grow, and build positive relationships.West Point CARES

📚 Circle of Care LaGrange (Twin Cedars) supports young parents and families with education, family resources, and child development services. Circle of Care Center for Families Circles of Troup County

🌳 CAFI Cares works throughout our region connecting families with resources like weatherization, Head Start, utility assistance, and food support.Community Action For Improvement, Inc.

💜 Harmony House provides emergency shelter, advocacy, and crisis services for survivors of domestic violence and their families.Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter, Inc.

🤝 2nd Call helps individuals rebuild their lives through mentoring, life skills, employment readiness, and support services.2nd Call
