🙏🙏--A DAILY CRUMB-- "Set your minds" 10-2-25 Colossians 3:1-2 ESV
[1] If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [2] Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

I woke up this morning feeling physically bad from a lack of sleep. As I stumbled around this morning getting ready for the work day, I began to pray, think of scriptures and get my mind in a good attitude towards the day. With everything we do, our mindset towards what we do will determine how we approach it, often even shaping the outcome! There's no doubt that the world we live in is a crazy, and evil place. But let me encourage and challenge you today, to set your minds on the things of God. Set your minds and create a mindset that is turned towards the Eternal, not the temporary, the internal, not the external, God, not the world. A mindset that is set on the things of God, will produce an attitude, that even when things are bad, good will prevail, Joy will triumph, and the outcome will be of God. After all, we are just travelers passing through this current world, moving forward into an eternal home with Christ!! Good day and God bless🙏🙏

🙏🙏--A DAILY CRUMB--"Blessed, Broken, and Given" 9-30-25 Matthew 14:19 "And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude." How often it is that we pray for God's blessings upon us, and for others around us. God is indeed a good God, that blesses us, rewards and rewards us. But the Blessings of God are always for a purpose, always for a plan, always a testimony to the world around us of the Goodness and Mercy of God through the Cross of Christ! When we are blessed by God, it is often with the pattern that we see in the occurrence of Jesus feeding the five thousand. 1- "Jesus Blessed the loaves"- This points to the believer being blessed, filled, given gifts, given resources, being raised up for God's purposes. 2-" Jesus broke the loaves"- This speaks of what happens next, (God breaks us.) As joyful as being blessed is, there will come a time after the blessing that God prepares us to be used. He takes us, and just like Jesus broke the loaves, God takes us through a time of being broken before him. A time of preparing us to use and being used of the blessings that he has given us! The Anointing of God often rides in on the waves produced by the storms in our lives. The storms, being broken, is never a pleasant process, but it is always necessary to get rid of whatever it is in our lives that needs to be removed in order for God to use us. 3-" Jesus gives the loaves to the people."- This speaks of the end of the process. God Blesses us, Breaks us, but then he distributes us to be a blessing to the world for his glory and purposes! Let me encourage you today that God wants to bless you, he wants to use you and bestow upon you a literal store house of Goodness! But, He wants you to take those things and be a blessing to the world around you! So give God what's in your hand today, and God will bless you, he will break you, and he will give you to fill others with the testimony of His goodness and Mercy!! Good day and God bless!🙏🙏

🙏🙏--A DAILY CRUMB--" Shadow Boxing" 9-26-25 Psalm 23:4
King James Version
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I remember watching Peter Pan as a child and him always trying to catch his shadow. No matter how fast, how much he tried, he could never catch his shadow. Shadows aren't an actual object, but merely just an image of an object. Shadows, even though they resemble a thing, can't actually hurt you or cause any harm. So many times I hear believers speaking of walking through "THE VALLEY OF DEATH", but the scripture doesn't say that! It calls it "THE SHADOW" of the valley of death. So what does this mean? For you the believer, it means that we don't have to fear! It means that what we are up against, looks like a thing, moves like a thing, but isn't actually a thing. It's just a shadow of a thing. On the Cross, Christ defeated death, hell and the grave and he defeated fear as well. Every thing that we face as a believer, has already been defeated!!! The power of that thing has been taken away, and all that's left is the shadow! But yet we fight as though we're fighting the actual thing, we swing at it, hit at it, speak to it, we give it a power and a life that it doesn't actually have. Say that again...WE GIVE IT A POWER AND LIFE THAT IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY HAVE!! So basically what we are doing, is fighting a shadow. No matter how hard you hit, you will never hit a shadow. All you will accomplish is wearing yourself out, while at the same time giving that shadow undue power and life. In order to properly fight, we must understand how to properly fight! So we fight, by not fighting at all. We fight, by simply placing our Faith in the Finished work of Christ, who has already defeated the valley of death in our life, and by Faith we simply WALK THROUGH IT!! We don't have to swing, hit, talk, or even run!! We walk, we rest, we just simply believe, not fear, and keep moving on in the abundant Grace, Mercy, and Comfort of God!! He has already defeated that thing! We just walk forward! So stop fighting shadows, and start walking out your victory! Good day and God bless🙏🙏
