Roe's Chapel UMC Open Hearts * Open Minds * Open Doors Read more about the church’s mission statement. We invite you to learn more about our rich theological heritage.

The United Methodist Church is a 12.3-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world. John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.

Sis. Lisa Hinton truly blessed us with a powerful word: “It’s not how you start this race, but how you end it.” 👏🏽

We had such a wonderful time celebrating and honoring our mothers, and showing love to our First Lady on her birthday as well! 🥳💕

What a powerful and spirit-filled Men’s Day program!✝️🙌🏽❤️

We give God all the glory for an awesome time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement. A heartfelt thank you to Minister DeNiro King of Leete Hill UMC for bringing a powerful and timely word on “Called to Lead.” Your message truly challenged and inspired us to walk boldly in our God-given purpose.

Special thanks to Minister Eddie Norwood for serving as our Master of Ceremony, Deacon Jesse Gay for the scriptural readings, and Steward Quay Boddie for his powerful message to the men on “What a Man Is.” Each of you truly blessed us!🙌🏽

We also extend our sincere appreciation to all of the program participants who helped make this day so special. Your service, dedication, and willingness to be used by God did not go unnoticed.

Truly, God met us in a mighty way!💥
