Paul begins his letter to Roman Christians with the revelation that knowing this Triune God is truly gospel - it is good news! Life-transforming news!

The plan of God for the good of all humanity, as promised in the prophets of the Old Testament, is fulfilled in the Son, through the power of the Holy Spirit in raising Jesus from the dead.

We remember Pentecost as an incredible time of unity when the Holy Spirit rushes upon the apostles and the thousands gathered at the Jerusalem temple hear - each in their own language - the gospel of Jesus proclaimed to them!
