Today we start our fast.
Not out of pressure. Not for performance
But with intention🤍This month is about getting rooted and refined: letting God deal with what’s beneath the surface so we can grow the way He’s calling us to. No distractions, no rushing, no pretending. Just real alignment.
If you’re fasting with us, I pray you enter this season with expectancy, clarity, and an open heart. And if you’re not fasting, still take a moment to check in with God today. Growth starts with willingness.
We’re not chasing perfection…
We’re choosing obedience.

Sunday Service Recap | “Running on Empty”
Matthew 25:1–8

Today’s message reminded us of something real simple but real deep:
If you stay ready, you won’t have to get ready.

In the parable of the ten virgins, preparation wasn’t optional: it was the difference between being ready when the moment came or being left scrambling. You can’t borrow oil when your lamp runs dry. Your relationship with God has to be personal, intentional, and maintained daily.

We also came together in communion, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and renewing our commitment to stay spiritually filled, not just on Sundays, but every day.

Let this be a check-in for all of us:
Are we running on empty… or are we staying ready?

Thankful for the Word, the fellowship, and the presence of God in the room today.

This was our last Sunday of the year to celebrate Sunday School and Morning Worship Service ! We thank God for the beautiful Sunday School lesson on How Three Make One. Romans 8:12-17, 26-27. The Trinity is the Holy Spirit, The Father, and The Son all makes One ! Next Pastor Hearn spoke a divine Word on The Battle Within. 2nd Corinthians Ch 10 vs 3-5. The problems we face daily starts with our mind. It’s up to us how we handle or respond to those thoughts. We have Sunday School every Second, Fourth, and Fifth Sundays at 8:30 followed by morning worship service at 9:45 am. We have Bible Study every Wednesday night at 6 pm. However there will be no Bible Study on Dec 31. We will resume on Jan 7, 2026. We are having Watch Night Service on Wednesday, Dec 31 at 10:30 pm. Pastor is Pastor Marcus Hearn. His wife is Sis Rachel Hearn! Have a great week !

What a time we had at Greenwood MB Church on today ! Not only was we spiritually fed, but we were physically fed too ! Thanks to the ones that bought us lunch today ! It was such a pleasant surprise! We have service every second, fourth, and fifth Sundays . Sunday School begins at 8:30 am and Morning Worship Service begins at 9:45 am. We have Bible Study every every Wednesday night beginning at 6:15 pm ! Pastor is Pastor Marcus Hearn and his wife is Sis Rachel Hearn !

Church was amazing on today ! To God be the Glory ! All praises go to the Most High ! Come join us every second, fourth, and now 5th Sundays in every month with Sunday School beginning at 8:30 am followed by morning worship service at 9:45 am.
