St. Andrew United Methodist Church

St. Andrew United Methodist Church A welcoming community equipping generations to share God's love.

09/11/2026

In remembrance of September 11, 2001:

O God, our hope and refuge,
in our distress we come quickly to you...

We come remembering those who lost their lives
in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania...

We come remembering
and we come in hope,
not in ourselves, but in you...

In commemorating this tragedy,
we give you thanks for your presence
in our time of need
and we seek to worship you in Spirit and in truth,
our guide and our guardian. Amen.

Excerpt of prayer by the Rev. Jeremy Pridgeon, First United Methodist Church, Panama City, Florida, via Discipleship Ministries, The United Methodist Church.

Hunger Hike is an annual community fundraising event whose mission is to raise the awareness of and make a difference in the fight against hunger locally and internationally. The St. Andrew Team has a fundraising goal of $1,000, and we would like your help reaching it! You can create your own fundraising page and join the "St. Andrew UMC" team, then share it on social media with your friends and family. Or, you may donate to the St. Andrew team. On Sunday, September 20 the community will gather at Memorial Pavilion in Columbian Park for a celebration and approximately one mile walk. Look for the table in the Commons this Sunday!
