“This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

On the night of His betrayal, Jesus foreshadowed His death - the fulfillment of the Passover lamb. He would give His body and pour out His blood to atone for the sins of His people.

Even in the face of betrayal, injustice, and suffering, Jesus sought to love and serve.

Take time to reflect:
What did it cost to pay for your sin?

Look to Christ, trust in His sacrifice, and remember Him.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Mary took what was likely her only earthly treasure and poured it out in love on her Savior. Judas, on the other hand, sold out Jesus for 30 pieces of silver—revealing who truly reigned over his heart.

What does your heart treasure?
What are you holding onto instead of pouring out before your Savior?

Take some time this week to simply grow in your love for your Savior. As you meditate on His sacrifice, let His love move you to love Him more.

Jesus exposed self-righteousness and came to save sinners from their sins.

In what ways do you still cling to your own self-righteousness?
Are you pursuing outward behavior or heart transformation?

Let’s lay aside all self-righteousness this week and embrace His finished work and rest in that assurance of salvation.

Be prepared to persevere. Consider it the greatest honor to suffer for Him!
