West Hempstead Kids: Help Build the Third Beis Hamikdash!

The 3 Weeks are all about building — so we’re launching a special project just for our kids:

“Build the Third Beis Hamikdash – One Mitzvah at a Time!”

We know that every mitzvah adds another brick toward building the Third Beis Hamikdash.

Here’s your part:

1.⁠ ⁠Do a Mitzvah! Make a bracha, study Torah, give tzedakah, listen to your parents, help someone in need — any mitzvah you choose!
2.⁠ ⁠Snap a Pic! Take a photo of you doing the mitzvah.

Dear Friends,

We are excited to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to join us for a community visit to the Ohel this Sunday, June 28 at 10:45 AM.

This is a special opportunity for all of us to come together in tefilah and achdus. At the Ohel we can open our hearts and seek brachos for ourselves, our families, our community, Klal Yisroel, and Eretz Yisroel.

This coming Sunday is also Yud Gimmel Tammuz - the 13th of Tammuz. It’s a day of celebration marking the liberation of the previous Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, from prison. The day is associated with special blessings and yeshuos, making it a beautiful time to daven together.

A light breakfast will be served.

There is no charge to join.

As you enjoy the arrival of summer — long days, warm nights, and time with loved ones — I’d like to take a moment to let you in on what many call West Hempstead’s best-kept secret: Friendship Circle. Right here in our community, Friendship Circle is transforming the lives of children with special needs and their families through friendship, inclusion, and unwavering support.

What makes Friendship Circle truly unique are our local teenage volunteers. They generously give their time to connect with families in our community who need support, and the impact they make is incredible.

We offer a full range of programs for Friendship Circle families, including Friends at Home, joyful holiday programs, Moms Night Out, Dads Night Out, extracurricular activities, and personalized support services.

With this in mind, I invite you, and all women and girls, to join us for a Luxury Night at the Beach: our tribute to the beloved Spa Day. This year, we’re privileged to honor Joni Nathanson. Her vision launched Spa Day and grew it year after year, and her dedication to this fundraiser has truly allowed Friendship Circle to become what it is today.
