Last week our Mary Martha Circle quilters and members of Rachel Circle welcomed Pastor Tim from Lutheran World Relief, who stopped by to thank them and help them see how their quilts and school kits are impacting neighbors around the world. Mary Martha and Rachel circles are ministries of Women of the ELCA. Mary Martha meets monthly to cut, sew, tie and bless quilts; Rachel Circle also meets monthly for bible study and service, including the creation of school kits.

Rachel Circle is a ministry of WELCA (Women of the ELCA) who meet monthly for fellowship, bible study, prayer and service. In February, they collected needed items for a local Spanish-speaking church. Last fall they created school kits to send to students in need around the world though Lutheran World Relief. Our quilters in Mary Martha Circle meet monthly to sew and tie beautiful quilts that are shared locally and around the world through Lutheran World Relief. Last year they created 100 quilts that are providing comfort to people in need. Come join them on the second Tuesday of the month for fellowship and quilt-making. No experience required!
