πΈ Where are your summer travels taking you? We want to see your photos! π
Summer travel is officially underway, and we love seeing where our St. Patrick families celebrate Mass while on the road.
The Sanders family kicked things off on a recent trip to Topeka, Kansas, where they visited their daughter and attended Mass at Christ the King.
It turns out our parishes share some interesting history! Like St. Patrick, Christ the King also built a new church in the mid-1980s to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community.
Their sanctuary has a beautiful, unique design from that era. The seating wraps around the altar in a welcoming half-moon shape, and the warm brick interior creates a very communal feel. Above, the angled ceiling beams are designed to resemble the sweeping rays of a royal crown π.
Whether you're traveling across the country, visiting family, or exploring nearby towns, itβs always meaningful to see how different parishes reflect their story through architecture and worship space.
Drop a photo in the comments of a church youβve visited this summer and tell us where it is! πΊοΈπ
