Summer crew, assembled.

Meet Ben, Zach, and Marshall β€” some of our summer maintenance helpers keeping St. Patrick looking its best all season long. These young men are spending their summer serving in a very literal way, and we're grateful to have them.

If you see them around the grounds, give them a wave (and maybe some grace if they're running the golf cart through the parking lot). πŸ™‚

Welcome to the team, guys!

Every Sunday, you can receive God Himself.

Not a symbol. Not a memory. Him.

This weekend we celebrate Corpus Christi β€” the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist, and He gives Himself to you completely.

Come receive Him. May this feast deepen our love and gratitude for this gift.

Christ prayed for oneness β€” and that prayer includes your marriage.

πŸ™ Pray together this week:
Father, as You are one with Your Son, make us one in heart, mind, and body. Pour matrimonial grace into every act of love so we will mirror Your perfect unity each day. Amen.

πŸ’ Try this:
Choose one Trinity-inspired action daily β€” pray an Our Father holding hands, or a decade of the Rosary together. And if an argument arises, try holding a crucifix together in the middle of it. Small acts of oneness, lived daily, reflect the unity Christ prayed for in your marriage.

πŸ“Έ Where are your summer travels taking you? We want to see your photos! πŸ‘‡

Summer travel is officially underway, and we love seeing where our St. Patrick families celebrate Mass while on the road.

The Sanders family kicked things off on a recent trip to Topeka, Kansas, where they visited their daughter and attended Mass at Christ the King.

It turns out our parishes share some interesting history! Like St. Patrick, Christ the King also built a new church in the mid-1980s to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community.

Their sanctuary has a beautiful, unique design from that era. The seating wraps around the altar in a welcoming half-moon shape, and the warm brick interior creates a very communal feel. Above, the angled ceiling beams are designed to resemble the sweeping rays of a royal crown πŸ‘‘.

Whether you're traveling across the country, visiting family, or exploring nearby towns, it’s always meaningful to see how different parishes reflect their story through architecture and worship space.

Drop a photo in the comments of a church you’ve visited this summer and tell us where it is! πŸ—ΊοΈπŸ‘‡

Have you felt it?

As part of the I-70 expansion project just southeast of our campus, crews have been blasting rock to prepare for the addition of a third lane and off ramp. The blasts aren't especially loud here at St. Patrick, but every so often you can feel a brief rumble under your feet as the ground shifts for a second.

We recently captured video of one of the blasts and thought our parish community might enjoy a glimpse of the work happening right in our backyard.

As members of Wentzville's historic Old Town area, we're in a unique position to watch this major project take shape. It's fascinating to see firsthand how much work goes into improving one of the region's busiest highways.
