"To Remember His Holy Covenant (Part 1): God's Covenant of Grace" by Peter Bringe

In this blog post, Pastor Bringe begins a three-part series of articles on covenant theology. In particular, he explains was Zechariah meant when he praised God in Luke 1:72–75 for raising up a Savior,

the oath that he swore to our father Abraham, to grant us
that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
might serve him without fear,
in holiness and righteousness before him all our days."

Thomas Watson (c. 1620-1686) wrote Heaven Taken by Storm based upon this verse. In it, he describes “the holy violence a Christian is to put forth in the pursuit after glory.” During our 10:00 am lesson time, we are studying this Puritan classic.
