ILSW is an active mission. We are called by the Lord to serve others. We call our mission or service and giving “Eagles on a Mission”.

First quarter Chapel offerings will go to sponsor our 8 students in Butangala. We have already raised $930 which covers one student! Thank you to everyone who has contributed! Let’s keep working together to reach our goal of sponsoring all 8 children!

Join us for our Annual Back to School Night on Thursday, September 10th!

Sessions take place at the following times:
6:00-6:30-Winter sports parent meeting
6:30-6:50-Session 1
6:55-7:10-Session 2
7:15-7:30-Session 3 and/or the 7th grade camp parent meeting (Mrs. Grubbs’ classroom) and the 8th grade class trip parent meeting (with Dr. Dolak in the Fellowship Hall). The 7th grade camp parent meeting and the 8th grade class trip parent meeting will both go until about 7:45.

If you plan to attend, there is no need to sign up in advance. This is a parents only event where you will learn about classroom procedures and curriculum, connect with other parents and hear more about what's happening at ILSW!

Meet Officer Macalady👮‍♂️

Officer Macalady is with the St. Charles County Police Department and he’s proud to serve as our School Resource Officer at Immanuel Lutheran School Wentzville.

He has been in law enforcement for 8 years, including the last 4 years as a School Resource Officer. He believes that being an SRO is much more than keeping everyone safe. It’s about building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. He enjoys being someone that students can confide in, joke with, or recognize as a friendly face.

Officer Macalady also teaches the St. Charles County Police Department’s S.T.A.R.T. program, which stands for Substance, To***co, Alcohol, Resistance, Training. The program focuses on helping young people make smart, healthy decisions and giving them the knowledge and confidence to resist negative influence.

When he’s not wearing his uniform, you’ll probably find him spending time with his family, playing golf, riding his bike, or enjoying some boating. He believes having fun, staying active, and spending time with family are all important parts of life.

Officer Macalady is excited to be part of the Immanuel Lutheran School Wentzville community and looks forward to getting to know all the students, staff, and families. His door is always open.
