We are happy to partner with Helping Hands 4 Families through our monthly drives and special initiatives. Please see their exciting news, below! Their new location happens to be colocated with a school with which we have also partnered for many years, Pearce Hall, providing breakfast bars for its students. We love supporting our local schools and families; itβs truly a joy!
π HELPING HANDS 4 FAMILIES HAS OFFICIALLY MOVED! π
We are so excited to share that Helping Hands 4 Families is officially settled into our new home, and monthly family pick-ups will restart in September!
As we begin this next chapter, we thought it was the perfect time to share a few facts about who we are, what we do, and how our community can help.
π OUR NEW LOCATION
Helping Hands 4 Families is now located in the basement of Pearce Hall at:
π 390 West Koenig Street, Wentzville, MO
β‘οΈ Please use the back entrance of Pearce Hall.
We will include pictures and directions with this post to help you find us!
π₯« THE SHARING SHED IS ONLY ONE PART OF WHAT WE DO
Our Sharing Shed is available 24/7 at our new location for anyone experiencing an immediate food need. Take what you need, and leave what you can.
But Helping Hands 4 Families is so much more than the Sharing Shed. The shed is an extension of our larger program and helps us make food accessible around the clock.
π WHAT DOES HELPING HANDS 4 FAMILIES DO?
We have an entire pantry and program dedicated to supporting local families.
Families can sign up to receive monthly support, including:
𧴠Personal hygiene products
π Clothing
π Household necessities
π₯« Food and pantry items
β€οΈ Other essential items as available
Throughout the year, we also provide special events and additional programs designed to meet the changing needs of the families we serve.
Our goal has always been simple: when families in our community need a hand, we want to be there.
π€ ARE WE PART OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT?
Helping Hands 4 Families is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We are incredibly grateful for the support and partnership of the Wentzville School District, including providing space for our program. They support us, and we support them β but Helping Hands 4 Families is its own nonprofit organization.
π WHO DO WE SERVE?
Helping Hands 4 Families serves anyone in need throughout St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties, while keeping families at the center of our mission.
You do not have to be affiliated with the school district to receive help or support our organization.
π¦ WHERE CAN I DONATE?
Food donations can be placed directly inside the Sharing Shed.
All other donations, including personal hygiene products, household essentials, clothing, and other items, can be placed in the blue donation bin next to the Sharing Shed.
If your donation will not fit in the blue bin, please send us a private message so we can make arrangements for drop-off.
π WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?
Right back into our community.
Helping Hands 4 Families exists because of neighbors helping neighbors. The items you donate, the time you volunteer, and the financial support you give allow us to continue helping people right here in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties.
Whether someone needs food from the Sharing Shed at midnight, hygiene products to get through the month, clothing for their children, household necessities, or a little extra support during a difficult season β we want our community to know that Helping Hands is here.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who helped us move, supported us through this transition, donated, volunteered, and continued believing in our mission.
π New home. Same mission. Even more opportunities to help our community.
Please SHARE this post so families throughout our three-county area know where to find us, how to receive support, and how to help.
Helping Hands 4 Families
Families helping families. Community helping community. π
