A Drop of Heaven
A Five-Day Devotional Series on Ephesians 2:11–22
Daily Practice: Pause • Pray • Practice
Each day, take a few quiet minutes to pause before God, pray through the day’s reflection, and then practice one small act of Christlike unity.

Day 1 — When Walls Go Up
Scripture:“Christ has broken down the dividing wall of hostility.” — Ephesians 2:14
We all have a tendency to build walls. Sometimes they are obvious, and sometimes they are almost invisible. We build walls around our opinions, our traditions, our experiences, and even our hurts. We can quickly turn people into “us” and “them.”
Paul reminds us that Jesus came to tear down the walls that sin builds. The cross does more than reconcile us to God; it opens a way for us to be reconciled to one another.
Pause: Ask God to show you any wall you have built between yourself and another person.
Pray: “Lord Jesus, show me the walls I have built. Give me the courage to let your love tear them down.”
Practice: Identify one person you have placed on the other side of a wall. Pray for that person today.
