Unknown Casserole

Fellowship dinners—with their mystery casseroles and mismatched chairs—mirror the holy awkwardness of shared life. Like peanut butter and jelly, our differences create something greater when united. The table isn’t about uniformity but Christ’s presence binding diverse stories. Passing potatoes becomes sacramental when we see each dish as an offering of availability. [46:21]

When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. (1 Corinthians 14:26, ESV)

Reflection: What “unidentifiable” person or situation in your community makes you uncomfortable? How might Christ be inviting you to taste grace in that very difference?

A Plea for Bread

Our bread supplier is unable to provide the bread we need for this week's operation at Brown Bag and so we are asking for help in obtaining enough bread to make 425 sandwiches in total. With your support and together we can make this happen!

All donations can be dropped off Saturday (8/22) by 9:00 am at the trailers of St. Eugene Catholic Church at 608 Lions Club Rd, Wendell. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] with any questions or comment below.
