Barbara Stensrud devoted 23 years of service to the Wells library, beginning her work in 1976. More than a librarian, Barbara was a welcoming presence, a trusted helper, and a friend to countless patrons through the years. She shared her love of books, learning, and community with kindness and quiet dedication that left a lasting impact on everyone who walked through the library doors.

Her years of service helped shape the library into a place of warmth and connection for the Wells community. Barbara will be remembered not only for her commitment and hard work, but for the care and compassion she showed to generations of readers and visitors.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
