We are excited to announce Randy Rayburn has been called to serve Parlor Grove Baptist Church as a deacon. Randy was unanimously approved by the congregation. Join us in welcoming, and praying for him in his new role!

A Note from Randy to the church:

I want to sincerely thank our church family for the confidence you have placed in me by electing me to serve as a deacon. It is truly an honor and a blessing, and I am very grateful for each and every one of you.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly. I pray that God will give me the wisdom, strength, and humility to serve our church and our congregation faithfully.

1 Peter 4:10 says:

“…as every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

I am truly humbled by this opportunity to serve, and I pray that I can be a blessing to our church and faithful in the responsibility God has entrusted to me.

Thank you for your trust, your prayers, and your support. I look forward to serving alongside each of you and, most importantly, serving our Lord.

God bless you all, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Your Brother in Christ,
Randy
