Welcome to CTI Online — House Prayer

House Prayer is a space where we gather to pray, worship, and seek God together as a church family. Whether you’re joining us online or in the room, you’re part of what God is doing here. This is a moment to slow down, lift up our needs, and believe for God to move in our lives, our families, and our church together.

Most of us open our prayers by listing every problem and every need. When Jesus' followers asked Him to teach them how to pray, He didn't tell them to start rambling off what they need.

Instead, Jesus taught them to open with "Our Father who art in heaven" (Luke 11:2). Prayer does not start with stating all of our problems. It starts with declaring who God is: He is our Father.

He's high above it all. The words "who art in heaven" tell us where He is and the position He holds: above every problem, every challenge, every trial, and every darkness.

When we face a setback, the problem can consume our vision. We wake up thinking about it, carry it all day long, and replay it in our minds when we lie down. Prayer gives us a place to speak honestly about it while remembering the God we're speaking to.

In the middle of our brokenness, our God is still great. We can bring our limited understanding to a God who sees the whole picture, our weaknesses to a God who is more than able to sustain us, and our uncertainty and questions to the Good Shepherd who guides us.

"It's a lie to think that the next step you take is going to solve the whole problem overnight. You might not be able to rebuild everything in a day, but you can take the next step."

Another Sunday full of reasons to celebrate! 🙌

Today we celebrated water baptisms and continued our Everyone Overcome series with a word from our guest speaker, Brooke Pitman!

These past few weeks, we’ve heard so many incredible testimonies of people walking through difficult seasons and seeing God move in their lives. What an encouragement to hear these stories and be reminded that we serve a faithful God!
