🌟 Staff Appreciation: Jesse! 🌟
Today we are celebrating our Corps Administrator and Pastor, Jesse! Jesse brings warmth, humor, compassion, and a genuine love for people to everything he does. Whether he is preaching, praying with someone, encouraging a child, mentoring a man who is rebuilding his life, helping with a program, or taking care of the many practical needs behind the scenes, Jesse serves wholeheartedly.
Jesse is also amazing at building relationships throughout our community. He genuinely enjoys connecting with people and has developed meaningful partnerships with local business owners, city leaders, government officials, and community organizations. He helps people understand the mission of The Salvation Army and invites them to become part of the good work happening in Waukegan and throughout Lake County.
He has a special gift for making people feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued. He believes deeply in second chances and in the power of God to transform lives because he knows that grace personally. His testimony, kindness, and willingness to walk alongside others bring hope to so many people.
Jesse is constantly learning and growing as a leader. From caring for our building and overseeing property projects to creating opportunities for families to eat, laugh, learn, and grow together, he works hard to help our church and community thrive.
Jesse, your joyful spirit, generous heart, and love for Jesus shine through the way you serve. Our church family and community are stronger because of your leadership, and we are incredibly grateful for you! ❤️

¡Hoy celebramos a nuestro Administrador del Cuerpo y Pastor, Jesse! Jesse aporta calidez, buen humor, compasión y un amor genuino por las personas en todo lo que hace. Ya sea predicando, orando con alguien, animando a un niño, acompañando a un hombre que está reconstruyendo su vida, ayudando con un programa o atendiendo las muchas necesidades prácticas detrás de escena, Jesse sirve de todo corazón.
Jesse también tiene una habilidad increíble para establecer relaciones en nuestra comunidad. Disfruta genuinamente conectarse con las personas y ha desarrollado colaboraciones significativas con dueños de negocios locales, líderes de la ciudad, funcionarios del gobierno y organizaciones comunitarias. Ayuda a otros a comprender la misión de El Ejército de Salvación y los invita a formar parte de la buena obra que se está realizando en Waukegan y en todo el Condado de Lake.
Tiene un don especial para hacer que las personas se sientan cómodas, bienvenidas y valoradas. Jesse continúa aprendiendo y creciendo como líder. Desde cuidar nuestro edificio y supervisar proyectos de la propiedad hasta crear oportunidades para que las familias coman, rían, aprendan y crezcan juntas, trabaja arduamente para ayudar a que nuestra iglesia y comunidad prosperen.
