YOUR WORDS HAVE POWER

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. PROVERBS 18:21 AMP

All words contain some kind of power, whether negative or positive, uplifting or downgrading. We are wise to remember that our words have the power to either help or hurt us and other people—to build up or tear down, to bring life or death. We must never underestimate the impact of our words. When life gets messy, our moods tend to sink. When they do, we need to be careful about what we say. We may become grouchy or irritable and say things we later regret, but then it is too late. Once words are spoken, they cannot be taken back. If you already have problems in your life, why make them worse by speaking negatively? Instead, choose faith-filled words that have the power to change your outlook and help lift you out of a difficult situation.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, I want to be careful about the words that I speak because I know my words have power. Help me choose positive, life-giving words. I want my words to be a source of encouragement and healing. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

YOUR MINDSET MATTERS

But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it. NUMBERS 14:24 ESV
The story of the Israelites is a good example of what a difference our mindset can make. The Israelites had been slaves in Egypt and couldn’t envision anything better for their future, so they got stuck. What was supposed to be an eleven-day journey to the Promised Land ended up being a forty-year journey, all because of their mindset—because their thinking was shaped by fear and doubt, not trust. But Joshua and Caleb had a different mindset, so God allowed them to enter into the Promised Land. God wants to do great things in our lives, but we can get stuck when we focus on our past or current circumstances. Instead of getting fixated on life’s challenges, we can reflect on the countless times God has guided us through them. By focusing on His promises, we can shift our mindset in the right direction and go bravely wherever He is leading us.
Here is a memory note : focusing on your past, will cost you your future.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father help me set my mind on You and Your promises today. Let my thoughts be aligned with Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Proverbs 29:2 KJV
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

A key word to consider is “When”

When" is an adverb, conjunction, and pronoun used to refer to or ask about time. It is primarily used to specify the exact time something happens, or to link events that occur together.

The word righteous from a biblical perspective means being in right standing and harmony with God and others. Rather than just describing moral flawlessness, it fundamentally involves living in a way that reflects God’s character, marked by fairness, justice, and faithful relationships.

God character stand with unlimited Love and vengeance, meaning God ‘s Love denotes His character and His nature . God has no equal , He is absolute and stays totally consistent to his Word. He is the sovereign and supreme force above all the elements of the heaven in the Earth. So when I communicate (pray) to God, my sole purpose is to get His answer ( His will concerning the situation. I am praying about ) . Never think your prayer can change God‘s will concerning the situation. But rather embrace His answer and be consistent to carry it out his way.

So always know that righteousness in authority will always carry it out no matter what, for it is God‘s way.

DEALING WITH DOUBT

Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. —MARK 11:23 AMPC Doubt is the enemy of faith, and it is something that we all experience. To doubt means to be between two opinions, or to feel that you are without a way. When doubts arise, we can choose to believe our doubts, or we can doubt our doubts. The enemy suggests doubts to us in the form of thoughts, but we don’t have to ponder them or allow them to take root in our minds, making us feel confused or lost in our way. With Jesus, we are never without a way because He is the Way (John 14:6). The only opinion to hang on to is the one about which you have peace in your heart. Feed your faith with the promises of God, and your faith will stay stronger than any doubt you might have.

“Father, help me believe Your Word above anything that I feel or think. I want to trust You at all times and learn to ignore all my doubts. Help me stay strong in faith. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

STRENGTH TO FACE FEAR

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? —PSALM 27:1 NKJV
We live in times when the earth is filled with great fear, but God’s children need not be afraid. He is the strength we need to confront fear, move past it, and do all that God wants us to do. If anything in your life is causing you to fear right now, remember that God loves you very much and that His perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). God doesn’t simply give us strength; He is our strength! We don’t need to fear other people or what they might say about us or do to us. Since God is on our side, we can confidently trust that He will always deal with our enemies as we put our trust in Him. Refuse to live your life in fear. Fear is from the devil, and it is intended to prevent you from making progress of any kind. The gift of God is faith, and with it, we can overcome all fear.
“Father, thank You for loving me and for being my strength. I will not live in fear because I trust You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ABIDING IN GOD’S WORD

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.” —JOHN 8:31

Abiding is not something that happens quickly. It is a process. It’s not agreeing with certain Scripture passages while rejecting others, and it’s not obeying God just one time. It’s setting your mind to agree with everything His Word says, whether you like it or not. It’s also obeying God time after time after time, in every situation, whether obedience is easy and joyful or difficult and sacrificial. In the Amplified Bible, abiding is described in John 8:31 as “continually obeying” Jesus’ teachings and “living in accordance with them.” If abiding in God’s Word is not already a habit for you, you can begin the process today. You can be obedient to whatever God is asking you to do. Then tomorrow, you can obey Him again. As you develop the habit of obedience, you will also develop the habit of abiding. According to John 8:32, abiding in God’s Word will help you know the truth that makes you free. It also keeps you aware of God’s presence and gives you a sense of closeness to Him. The key to being His disciple, meaning one who follows Him and learns from Him, is to abide in His Word.
“Father, I pray that You would help me to abide in Your Word—continually obeying and living in accordance with Your teachings. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

BE STRONG

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. —EPHESIANS 6:10

We live in Christ and He lives in us. The victory that He has won is available to us. Don’t talk yourself into being weak and powerless. Confess today’s scripture aloud several times each day by saying, “I am strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” As you do, you will begin to feel stronger and more powerful. God’s Word says, “According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:29). If you believe nobody likes you, there is a good chance that nobody will. Because of what you believe, you will behave in ways that will cause people to avoid being around you. On the other hand, if you believe you are the kind of person people love to be around, you will have many friends because your behavior will reflect what you believe about yourself. The enemy is the great deceiver, and he delights in telling us lies about ourselves, hoping we will believe them. If we do, then his lies become our reality simply because we have believed them. Be sure that what you believe is backed up by God’s Word, because that will help you stay strong on the narrow path that leads to life (Matthew 7:14).

“Father, help me believe that I am strong and that I have Your power inside of me. Help me recognize and resist the lies of the enemy. I want to be all You want me to be, and I need Your strength and power in order to do that. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

REST YOUR MIND

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. —PROVERBS 3:5 AMP
Do you know that you can feel tired and worn-out from thinking too much? Mental tiredness is just as real as physical fatigue. Our minds need to rest, just as our bodies do. God’s Word encourages us not to be
excessive in reasoning. Thinking about things is good and valuable, but moving into worry, anxiety, or merely relying on our own reasoning will exhaust us.
The things that you need to think about will still be around tomorrow, so don’t hesitate to take a mental rest when you need one. Instead of trying to solve a problem today, why not have some fun and find something humorous that will give you a good laugh? Giving your mind a break may refresh you more than you think.

“Father, help me get the rest I need in all areas of my life, especially in my mind. I love and appreciate You, Lord. Thank You for all that You do for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENJOY SIMPLE THINGS
This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it. —PSALM 118:24 AMP

Each day that God gives us is precious and should be enjoyed. Jesus came to earth so that we might have life and enjoy our lives (John 10:10 AMPC). Most of life is routine and doesn’t consist of especially exciting activities. We go to work, we fulfill our duties at home, we take care of our responsibilities, and we do those things over and over, day in and day out. We don’t have to let them become boring and make the mistake of thinking we will enjoy ourselves when we get to do something exciting, such as take a vacation or have a birthday party. Life can be enjoyed if we learn to enjoy the simple things—the sunrise, taking a walk, eating lunch with a friend, or watching children play. A simple attitude adjustment on our part helps us enjoy each day the Lord gives us, rather than wasting it by wishing we were doing something else. Church As you go through your day today, purpose to enjoy each thing you do, and live the day in gratitude for all that God has given you.

. “Father, I want to enjoy each moment You give me here on earth, and I especially want to learn to enjoy simple, everyday things. Remind me daily of how precious life is, and let me see the value in every little thing I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH

So he told her everything. “No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said, “because I have been a Nazirite dedicated to God from my mother’s womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.” —JUDGES 16:17

You may remember the Old Testament story of Samson, the Nazirite man who did not cut his hair. Not cutting his hair was part of his Nazirite vow, but it was also the secret of his tremendous physical strength. Samson led the nation of Israel for twenty years, and his enemies, the Philistines, were curious about the source of his strength. When he fell in love with Delilah, the Philistine leaders said to her, “See if you can lure him into showing you the secret of his great strength and how we can overpower him so we may tie him up and subdue him” (Judges 16:5). Samson refused to tell her his secret many times when she asked him about it, but he ultimately gave in to her. After he told her, she shaved his head, and his strength disappeared. You also have a source of strength. It’s not in your hair or in any earthly belonging or physical or mental trait. It’s in Christ alone. When you need strength, don’t seek it in any worldly source. Ask God to empower you to do whatever you need to do. He will always come through for you.

“Father, may I always look to You for the strength I need, knowing that I will find everything I need in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
