Even more good news! Kim Cunningham discharged home today, two days after her successful brain tumor surgery! This is incredibly amazing! More praising of our great God!

Answered Prayer! PTL! Some of you are aware that we have been praying for one our teachers, Kim Cunningham, who had a brain tumor removed on Monday, June 1.

I just had the privilege of visiting Kim this afternoon (6/2) in PHSW ICU and gave her the quilt that Leona Leafty, one of our quilters, made for her, a quilt that was blessed at our last worship service. She was thrilled with it.

What a miracle girl she is - awake, alert, and amazing nurses and doctors alike. Her Physical Therapist said, “Well I guess you won’t be needing my services.” Discharge planner had the same response. Tonight or tomorrow, she will be graduating to the 6th floor in the Tower. No rehab center to follow either! Most likely she will be discharging home this week.

We all have so much to be thankful for! PTL! Kim is a living, breathing, walking miracle. And we have the privilege of knowing her! PTL!

Your Prayers are Requested for our dear friend, Pastor Annette Nettles - Wed. Evening 5/27 11:00 pm.

She is currently in ER at a hospital in the Seattle area. Her granddaughter, Brianna, is with her. She appears to be having a stroke with high blood pressure and showing other symptoms. She is having a CT scan right now to determine if that is the case. Aaron's death has been very hard on her. 🙏 please!

Update from Brianna at 11:15 pm:

“There are no active new strokes happening but they do see an old stroke. They can’t tell how old it is. They are doing an MRI soon because it gives them a clearer picture to make sure nothing new is going on. Her blood pressure is going down a little too. She’s alert, talking and seems to be starting to feel better. ❤️‍🩹🙏

Former Riverside member, Lloyd Knecht, passed to his rest in Jesus this weekend at age 102. Oh how we long for that “Great Gettin’ Up Morning!”
