For several weeks we have been preparing to “pass the baton” of pastoral leadership to incoming pastor Darin Buse. The track relay baton has traveled to Sunday school classes, worship services, children’s ministries, and administrative council meetings. Church member have written their hopes and dreams for the church and placed them inside the baton. We have each held the baton and prayed for our new pastor. Today, Pastor Josh officially passed the baton to the the Staff-Parish Relations Committee who will hold it until it is passed to Pastor Darin in a few weeks.
