Hi! I’m Averi and I was recently baptized. I’ve always known about the Church growing up but my family fell out of it. But I knew that I wanted to know more so I asked my friends. Trey, who has been a close friend of mine since 4th grade, invited me to church one day and I said yes. He kept inviting me and soon asked if I was ready to meet with the missionaries. I said yes and we met. Meeting with our missionaries was amazing! They taught me and they listened to what I was saying. They answered my questions and helped me gain a true understanding of the Church. Getting baptized made me feel at peace with myself. It filled a void in my life and I will always be grateful for my Heavenly Father. Learning how to be my best self and the best daughter of God I can be has changed my life. Not only has it brought joy to me, but it has also brought joy to those around me. I am so thankful for the people who helped me learn more and grow as a person. I know the Church is true and I know that following in His footsteps will lead you to an amazing eternal life. I am so excited to see what more the Church will bring me. So far it has brought me more than I could have ever imagined!
