On March 23rd, 2004, Father and Mother Moon were crowned as the King and Queen for Peace at the Capital of this Nation. He said that this is the era of women. Women of America are to be mothers for the world, we have to go to the world for world peace. He said True Mother would lead us into the era of Cheon Il Guk. On that same day ACLC started a 3-day National Convocation and a women’s session wa

s held for the first time. It was only a one-hour session, but there was a total Holy Spirit experience. We were inspired to meet 4 more times during the convocation. 75 women were there as the founders of the Women’s movement receiving the blessing of Family Federation and ACLC leadership. The first thing we did was a weekly prayer call by phone, which we have continued for 11 years now.

3 National Conferences

1. Norfolk, VA 2007 - Commemorated 400-year Anniversary of the Jamestown Settlement – with a focus on reconciliation between Native American and Colonial through some of their descendants.

2. Atlanta, GA 2008 – Honored Dr. Martin Luther King 40 years after his passing.

3. Philadelphia, PA 2010 – Visit to Independence Hall and catching the Founding Spirit of America while supporting Religious Freedom. Reconciliation work –

2009 – Oklahoma: Joining a pow wow with ACLC Leader Rev. George Akeen who is central chief of the Cheyenne Arapaho nation. We had a special prayer for the Oklahoma bombing victims.

2013 - Trail of Tears Pilgrimage - ACLC Women, together with women and youth of FFWPU and WFWP representatives, traveled retracing the trail of tears commemorating the historic and very sad history of the Trail of Tears that Cherokee Nation and several other nations endured. This pilgrimage completed in a special ceremony conducted by Rev. George Akeen which Dr. and Mrs. Balcomb, President of FFWPU USA joined in Tehlequa, Oklahoma at the Cherokee Heritage museum commemorating the Trail of Tears and the successful Cherokee nation.

2014 – ACLC Women In Ministry honored 39 Tribes of Oklahoma at a special unity pow wow of Rev. George Akeen and remembered the Trail of Tears. Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Director of FFWPU North America and National Co Chair of ACLC gave the main message recognizing the important work of ACLC WIM to do the work of reconciliation. We offer:

THE LATTER SHALL BE GREATER: A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE FUTURE

"On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".... Matthew 16:18

History reminds us that a prison sentence does not have the final word over a God given mission.

Rev. Sun Myung Moon faced imprisonment in the United States, serving approximately 12–13 months before his release in August 1985. What was intended by some to silence him became part of a larger testimony. He returned to public ministry and was welcomed by supporters at a major rally.

Today, as Hak Ja Han Moon faces her own difficult season, we must remember that history is never finished in the middle of the story.

A difficult chapter is not necessarily the final chapter.

There are moments when leaders are misunderstood, opposed, criticized, and surrounded by circumstances they never expected. Yet adversity has often become the furnace in which perseverance, conviction, and legacy are tested.

The prophet declared:

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former…” Haggai 2:9

And again:

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7

This is a season to pray harder not to rejoice in suffering, not to surrender to fear, and not to pronounce the end before the story has been completed.

We pray for the strength for Hak Ja Han Moon our TM.

We pray for justice, wisdom, mercy, and truth.

We pray for those who carry the burden of leadership during this difficult hour.

And we pray that whatever the outcome of present circumstances, the work of peace, family, faith, and reconciliation will not be destroyed.

What the enemy intends as a period of discouragement, God can use as a season of reflection, purification, and preparation.

The history of faith teaches us repeatedly:

Joseph had a prison before the palace.
Daniel had a den before greater influence.
Paul had chains, but the Gospel continued to move.
Nelson Mandela had imprisonment, yet later became a symbol of reconciliation.
Rev. Sun Myung Moon experienced imprisonment, yet returned to continue his public mission.

Therefore, we will not allow the darkness of one season to define the promise of another.

The latter shall be greater.

We shall display greater wisdom.

Greater unity.

Greater compassion.

Greater strength.

A Greater Testimony.

And shall build peace...

We declare that 2027 can be a year of renewed vision and renewed victory not merely victory over circumstances, but victory of faith over fear, hope over despair, and purpose over opposition.

We will not abandon hope in the middle of the battle.

We will pray.

We will stand for truth.

We will continue to seek justice, defend religious freedom, and we will stand with her.

Let us believe that God is still writing "Our Story."

There is still another chapter.

We declare:

Hak Ja Han Moon’s case verdict — August 31, 2026

The Seoul Central District Court sentenced Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon to 2 years in prison in the first-instance trial.

The case involved allegations that she:

* Provided political funds to politicians
* Directed gifts/luxury items to former First Lady Kim Keon Hee through intermediaries
* Misused or embezzled church funds
* Was involved in alleged attempts to secure political influence for the Unification Church

The court found her guilty on corruption-related charges, while Dr. Han has consistently denied wrongdoing, maintaining that she did not personally direct the alleged activities and that actions by subordinates were not necessarily done with her knowledge.

Other leaders in the same case

The trial also involved senior church officials, including:

* Jung Won-joo, former chief of staff
* Yoon Young-ho, former head of the church’s world headquarters
* Lee Shin-hye, former finance official

Reported sentences varied, including suspended sentences for some defendants.
