GMCHC Women of Virtue Scholarship Ministry continues its FREE Virtual Road To College Series on this coming Saturday, March 26th at 10:00am. This week's session will focus on the importance of "Self Discovery, Self Advocacy and Self Determination" and presenters will discuss such topics as making the most of your high school resources, choosing the right post secondary option for you, and navigating the college admissions process. The session will be led by two educational experts:
--Ms. Sharee Williams, College Readiness Coordinator for
Prince Georges County Public School System
--Ms. Regina Robinson, Founder of Suited4Success and
Educational Coach & Author, “Winning the Game of
College Admissions.”

The sessions are designed to prepare high school students and their parents to win at the college application and college admissions process. The sessions also provide students and parents with access to educational experts and allow them to ask questions and get on the spot feedback as well as tools and tips in navigating the high school to college transition. The sessions will be held for one-hour from 10:00am to 11:00am EST on the following Saturdays:

GMCHC Women of Virtue Scholarship Ministry will host a FREE Virtual Road To College Series designed to prepare high school students and their parents to win at the college application and college admissions process. The sessions will be held for one-hour from 10:00am to 11:00am EST once a month on Saturdays. Each session promises to be informative and led by educational experts and college readiness coaches from the DMV area.
The sessions kick off this coming Saturday, February 26, 2022 @ 10am with a discussion about "Financing Your College Dreams: FAFSA, Financial Aid, Grants & More" with a representative from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid.

Other sessions will include targeted discussions by high school grade level and cover such topics as making the most of my high school resources, choosing the right post secondary option for me, navigating the college admissions process, nailing the college interview, mastering the college essay and much more.

Please join the Women of Virtue Scholarship Ministry on Saturday, February 25th @ 8:30am for our Black History Month Scholarship Prayer Breakfast Celebrating Champions of Change. We are planning a wonderful time of fellowship, worship and refreshing with the anointed and dynamic preacher and prayer warrior, Elder Joseph Brown.

Tickets are only $35.00 which includes a scrumptious breakfast and a few surprises. Your support will help WOV provide college scholarships to prepare our next generation of Change Makers.

Join WOV for our Inaugural March for Education 5K Walk-A-Thon in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Right Act of 1964 and the 60th Anniversary of the landmark Brown v. Board of Education decision.
