Today we celebrate the Exaltation of the Precious Cross — Krstovdan, a feast dedicated to the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For Christians, the Holy Cross is not only a symbol of suffering, but also a symbol of Christ’s love and victory. Upon the Cross, our Lord offered Himself for the salvation of the whole world and, through His suffering, conquered death.
