These beautiful pieces were created using colored salt. But once salt is dyed and turned into art, it can no longer fulfill its original purpose—it can no longer season or preserve. Its purpose has changed.

Jesus said:

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything…” — Matthew 5:13

As Christians, we’re called to remain useful for God’s purpose, not just look good on the outside. At the same time, Jesus also reminds us:

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

May we never lose what God created us to be. Let our lives preserve truth, reflect His love, and shine so brightly that all glory goes to Him.
