On March 31st, we celebrated Daughters of the King Sunday. Leeann Haubrich was installed as pending member.
Who are The Daughters of the King, you ask?

Daughters of the King is an international order of lay and ordained women and girls who seek a closer walk with the Lord. Members take vows of prayer, service, and evangelism, and adhere to a Rule of Life. Although members are at different stages in their Christian journeys, their primary goal remains the same: to know Jesus Christ and to make him known to others by reflecting God’s love throughout the world.

Examples of Ministry:
▪︎ Members of all churches lead and serve in all church ministries as they are able.
▪︎ Design and lead quiet days, contemplative service, Advent and Lenten events, Bible study, Lectio Divina, Sacred Ground circles, retreats, prayer groups, book study.
▪︎ Outreach projects: food pantries, baby and school supplies, Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas gifts, books, personal care items, cooking for the hungry.
▪︎ Praying for members of our church and wider communities.
▪︎Visiting and sending cards to those who are alone.
