Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Fr. John Croiset, S.J.

Called the "key to understanding the importance and centrality of the devotion to the Sacred Heart", this short book, written by the spiritual director to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque - who was favored with the apparition of Our Lord to promulgate devotion to His Sacred Heart - is a wealth of insights into the excellence of this devotion, and how it can lead one to spiritual perfection. It also provides practical guidance on how to grow in our relationship with Our Lord.

Classes will be on Wednesday, September 2 and September 9 from 6:30-8:00PM in the Convent meeting room.

Catholic Books
Do you have Catholic books that you no longer use?

The Legion of Mary here at St. Mary's is collecting Catholic books, to redistribute them for free. The Legion is planning to have a book table after some of the Sunday Masses in the future where folks may help themselves to good Catholic reading.
Please drop off books during the Food Pantry hours directly at the Food Pantry location (Thursdays from 10am-12pm).

ST. RITA SOCIAL GROUP

This month, the group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month, Tuesday, August 11th, 2026.

The St. Rita Social Group is a one hour gathering for parishioners and friends who are alone, lonely or lacking social interaction. A chance to "get out of the house" and be with others for coffee/tea and discuss a specific Catholic topic or short book or just sit and talk.

The group will be meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, August 11, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM in the Convent building.
