I've got good news to share! Until last spring, we were only able to run our breakfast program during the coldest months of the year. Then, for the first time last spring, we managed to keep serving breakfast throughout the summer, three mornings each week. So I'm delighted to share with you that beginning on April 22, Chaplains On the Way's Breakfast Program will once again begin its summer schedule, serving our unhoused neighbors Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings each week from 7:30 to 9:30am!
Friends, the wolves are at the door! The current Administration is gutting federal relief programs right and left. The Dept. of Agriculture has just cut a stupefying $1 billion in funding to schools and community food banks. I hardly need to tell you that once again we are living through unprecedented times, and we need your help in caring for those among us who have the least. Your generous hearts will help us to keep the wolves from the door.
Here are a few ways you can help:

2) You can volunteer to help prepare and serve breakfast, help wash dishes, or simply sit and talk with our unhoused guests. We welcome volunteers to help us during the hours of 7:00 to 10:00am, or any portion of that time. It's up to you! Here's a link to a Signup Genius for Volunteers. https://bit.ly/4iPg2sp
