Special Gathering has lost a very dear and faithful friend. Frank has gone to be with the Lord. Oh how we will miss him! He has been at Special Gathering since the beginning. We know where he is and we have the Promise of seeing him again. Please keep his family and friends in prayer.

What a Great day at the Elks Lodge. They are so good to Special Gathering. We looked for eggs that were filled with candy and the prized golden eggs had money in them. She-She was the big winner. She found the egg with $25. We all know that the rabbit and the eggs have nothing to do with the true meaning of Easter but this was for fun and Fun it was!! We had chicken, mac & cheese, and green beans for lunch. We also had the 'prettiest' bunny in town come and take pics with us. Thank you to the Walterboro Elks Lodge #1988 for EVERYTHING!!

A good day at Church. David does a great job at teaching our folks the word. I have watched them grow the past couple of years. This is a much needed ministry and I pray that God will lead and guide our board members moving forward. For those of you who didn't make it today, we love you and missed you.

If you didn't come to our party on Valentines day, you missed a fun time! The Walterboro Elks Lodge #1988 did an excellent job.
Shorty's smokin' butts catered the event with ribs, mac & cheese, green beans and cole slaw. The King and Queen was Travis and Sheila. Their peers voted for them. We had a photo booth, lots of dancing with a great day. Everyone got a corsage and they gave out gift bags when people left. We were honored to have Ms. Shana Lee to join us and Daquan and his mom dropped in. A great big Thank You to everyone at Colleton Cares, Virginia Pryor at SLP and of course Donna and all the volunteers at The Elks Lodge!! Thank you for a Great time.

I pray God's will for all of us. We brought in the New Year with communion. We do it every New Year. Getting ready to lay down and say my nightly prayers. If you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal savior there's no time like the present. If you don't know what to say here is a guide for you.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sins and invite you into my heart and life to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.".
