UNITY, NOT CONFORMITY — Why the Remnant Must Stop Dividing

Why are believers who love Yahusha, love Scripture, and desire to obey Torah constantly dividing over questions that Scripture does not necessarily make salvation issues?

In this powerful Vine teaching by Pastor Joe, we examine why unity will be one of the greatest spiritual battlegrounds of the last days.

Yahusha prayed “that they all may be one” in John 17.

Paul commanded believers to preserve “the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” in Ephesians 4.

Romans 14 warns us not to quarrel over disputable matters and specifically addresses disagreements concerning food and days.

Titus 3:9 warns against endless controversies and quarrels about the law because they can become unprofitable and destructive.

We will also examine the world of 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, including the distinctive calendar and communal traditions found at Qumran. These ancient sources help us understand how diverse Second Temple Jewish communities could approach sacred time, covenant identity, and community life differently.

But this is not a call to abandon truth.

It is a call to distinguish between:

SALVATIONAL TRUTH
and
DISPUTABLE INTERPRETATION.

There are truths we must never compromise.

But there are also questions where sincere believers can study, disagree, and continue walking together.

And in the final days, we need a people who can say:

“I will hold my conviction without making myself the judge of every servant of Yah.”

We will also address the often-misunderstood words of Yahusha in Matthew 10:34–36, where He says He came to bring “a sword.” The context points to the division that allegiance to Him can produce—even within families—not a command for believers to attack one another.

Truth can divide light from darkness.
Truth does not give the body permission to destroy itself.
