"Show me Your glory" — Moses refused to move without God's presence. The promised land meant nothing without Him. What we need most is not God's gifts, but God Himself. His glory is seen in the face of Jesus.

What if the greatest gift God offers is not a blessing, a breakthrough, or a promised land — but God Himself? In Exodus 33, Moses refuses to move forward without the presence of God. He does not just ask for guidance or provision. He asks, "Show me Your glory." That desperate cry for intimacy over convenience is the heart of true worship.

We are prone to want God's gifts without God. But Moses understood that milk and honey without the presence of God is still exile. The same is true for us. What sets God's people apart is not what we have, but Who goes with us.

The glory Moses longed to see is now fully revealed in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6, Hebrews 1:3). We do not climb up to find God. He came down to us through His Son.

Come worship with us and encounter the God who is not just good at what He gives, but glorious in who He is.

Moses did not ask God for the promised land. He asked for something far greater. "If you don't personally go with us, don't make us leave this place." (Exodus 33:15) The land meant nothing without the presence of God. Neither does anything in our lives.

When Moses cried out "Show me Your glory," God pointed him toward something Moses could not yet fully see. We can. The glory of God is not a place or a destination. It is a Person. It is Jesus. (John 1:14, Hebrews 1:3)

We are not called to settle for God's gifts while missing God Himself. We are called to seek His face, carry His presence, and let that presence make us distinct from everyone around us.

Come and seek His glory with us.

What do you turn to when you are still waiting on God? In our final message of the Counterfeit Gods series from Exodus 32, we explored what it means to stop clinging to substitutes and start trusting the risen Savior.

Moses could only offer a "perhaps" when pleading for Israel's forgiveness. But Jesus said "It is finished." That is not uncertainty — that is a done deal. The cross was not just forgiveness. It was an exchange. He was treated as though He had lived our sinful life so that we could be treated as though we had lived His righteous life.

God always begins with relationship, then identity, then transformation. When we get that order right, everything changes. The calf is dust. But Christ walked out of the grave.

Come watch or re-watch this message and ask yourself: what am I clinging to that only Jesus can replace?

What are you clinging to when life feels uncertain? In Exodus 32, Israel grew impatient and grabbed a substitute for God — a golden calf that promised everything and delivered nothing. Sound familiar?

Moses could only offer a "perhaps" when pleading for the people. But Jesus said "It is finished." Not maybe. Not perhaps. Paid in full. That is the difference between every counterfeit god and the risen Savior.

Every idol over-promises and under-delivers. Every idol demands sacrifice, but Jesus became the sacrifice. He did not come to improve you — He came to redeem you, adopt you, and give you a new identity rooted in grace, not performance.
