New Life Church was born out of a dream to serve the community of Meriden and the surrounding area. Will and Ann Marotti began planning the church with three others on a Wednesday evening in February 1999. The group met in their home on Easter Sunday 1999 for the first time as New Life Church. The core group had grown to nine people when God gave them the opportunity to renovate and move into a si

x thousand square foot building formally used as a pharmacy. The small group opened for public service on December 19, 1999. Since that time, the church has grown and God has added many new friends. After six years of consistent growth, God opened the door for a merger with two other churches, both of which broadened the ministry impact of New Life in significant ways. First, God led The First Hispanic Baptist Church of Meriden to unite with New Life Church. This gave New Life a Spanish Language outreach in a city with the fastest growing Hispanic population in CT. Next, Calvary Baptist Church, felt led to merge with New Life as well. Calvary's strength in spiritual gifts discovery would help us prepare for the future. The merger with Calvary also provided New Life Church with additional property on which to expand by adding a primary ministry center on 262 Bee St. campus, the church began offering additional services at the Oakdale Music Theater in Wallingford. Following two successful years at the Oakdale, a magnificent fifty-six acre campus in Wallingford formerly known as Mountain Ridge became available. The church made a miraculous purchase in May of 2012. Following seven months of renovation, New Life held its first official service there in December of 2012. A forty-seven thousand square foot worship center, an office building, swimming pools, basketball and tennis courts, softball fields and a fishing pond all make this location a wonderful place for the New Life Family to grow for years to come. The future is very bright! Will and Ann have been married since 1988 and have two children, Andrea and William. The family plans to live and minister in Meriden/Wallingford area for the rest of their lives.

Practical Responsibility, Spiritual Influence | Sunday Service | 6.7.26 |

In this installment of our Advanced Training series, we explore the deep connection between our practical responsibilities and our spiritual influence. Kingdom stewardship is much more than a financial topic; it is a primary classroom for spiritual maturity and a core discipleship issue. Before God entrusts us with greater spiritual weight, He often examines how we manage the resources and responsibilities currently in our care.

Drawing from the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 6, this message highlights how our management of earthly treasure reveals the true condition of our hearts. By shifting our focus from temporary pursuits to eternal priorities, we align our lives with God's Kingdom and strengthen our spiritual health. Join us as we learn how to navigate the competition for our devotion and choose to live with a perspective that honors God above all else.

Did you expect forgiveness to instantly change how you felt, or did you find it was a process over time?

Forgiveness is a choiceβ€”a distinct moment where you decide to release bitterness and hand the situation over to God. But just like salvation, that initial decision is often the start of a journey, not the end of it. The healing of your emotions doesn't always happen overnight, but making the decision to forgive sets the process of true freedom in motion.

Who is someone you are remembering and honoring this Memorial Day?

Memorial Day is a significant time to pause and reflect on the courage of those who gave everything in service to our country. We want to honor their memory and show our gratitude as a community, while providing a space for reflection and hope.

In this Sunday service message, The Cost of Your Freedom, we reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day as more than just a holiday. Remembrance is a vital spiritual discipline that honors those who gave their lives for our nation and reflects on the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our eternal salvation. This message from our Advanced Training series explores the biblical call to remember God's faithfulness and the courage of those who served. We discuss how true liberty requires a commitment to responsibility and the importance of building a lasting legacy of faith. Join us as we learn that freedom survives only when sacrifice is remembered and lived out daily.

What is one thing that has been hardest for you to forgive?

Forgiveness and forgetting are two completely separate things. Extending true forgiveness allows you to release the weight of resentment for your own benefit, but it does not mean blindly handing over trust. Rebuilding a relationship takes time, and moving forward with wisdom means protecting your peace while still leading a life built on grace.
