Has America and S***m and Gomorrah become synonymous in their moral stance?
As June commences, the world focuses intently on "Pride" month.
These six things doth the LORD hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look,…. Proverbs 6:16 there’s seven others listed, but the first one was a proud look.
Proverbs 16:6 Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for;
through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided.
As Evangelicals, our ultimate standard for truth must always be the Bible and not the influence of society.
True love does not entail celebrating choices that deviate from God's design; rather, it entails conveying truth with compassion.
The Bible explicitly addresses human sexuality, citing God's creation of male and female, instructing them to multiply (Genesis 1:28).
Deviation from this natural order has profound spiritual, mental, and emotional repercussions.
Scripture cautions that persistent rebellion against God's natural law invites substantial spiritual oppression, leaving individuals spiritually afflicted and emotionally bound.
Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination."
In the Old Testament law, God strictly prohibited same-sex relations, establishing them as a violation of His created order.
For centuries, legal frameworks recognized these acts as violations of natural law.
While the civic punishments of the Old Testament do not apply to the New Covenant church, God's moral standard regarding sexuality remains unchanged.
Romans 1:26-27 GOD TURNED THEM OVER TO REPROBATE MIND
“For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Or a reprobate mind (that is a conscience void of offense ):
For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women... or committing crimes against nature.
The Apostle Paul explains that turning away from God leads to a rejection of the natural order.
Choosing paths contrary to nature results in spiritual and psychological confusion.
The homosexual community today is the plagued with mental health problems.
Habitual sin darkens the mind and distorts the way we think, feel, and live.
Scripture warns that persistently celebrating what God forbids hardens the human heart.
Romans 1:21-25 describes a progression where people trade the truth of God for a lie, leading to darkened hearts and futile thinking.
Don’t be deceived by social acceptance and be: REJECTED FROM THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral... nor men who practice homosexuality... will inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified..."Now praise God that means they were saved and sanctified!
Now we have in our modern society people who want men in women’s sports and men in women’s bathrooms and locker rooms all because of transgender perversion.
Real freedom and restoration do not come from celebrating what God’s Word warns against, but from surrendering our lives to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
We invite everyone to turn to Him, confess our sins, and receive the overwhelming mercy, forgiveness, and transformation that only the Gospel provides!
Scripture warns us that 'pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall' (Proverbs 16:18).
When a culture institutionalizes pride and arrogance in behaviors contrary to God's design, it calls "evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20).
This confuses future generations, standardizes moral deception, and misleads children about their identity and purpose.
This is why we’re facing a cultural crisis with confusion, perversion, and transgender ideology!
Rather than boasting in self-identity, the biblical response is brokenness over sin (Psalm 51:17).
Repentance is not merely about restriction; it is the gateway to freedom.
Again (1 Corinthians 6:11) concludes its warning by reminding believers of the Gospel's power: "And such were some of you.
But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ."
If you’re caught up in an immoral lifestyle, no matter how deep and seeing you may be there is deliverance and forgiveness when you call upon the name of Jesus.
Isaiah 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Call upon him now and repent, which means to turn from your sin and receive his transforming power. It is that simple in Jesus name Amen!
