Our Gratitude Box is now open and ready for your notes of appreciation! 💌
Take a moment to fill out a card sharing something you’re thankful for about a fellow church member—a kind act, a word of encouragement, their faithful service, or simply the joy they bring to our church family.

The Gratitude Box will remain open until our Friendsgiving Meal on 11/18, when these special notes will be read aloud or distributed as a meaningful reminder of how much we appreciate one another. 📫

So stop by, fill out a card, and insert it in the gratitude box! Let’s fill that box with gratitude, encouragement, and love! 🍂🧡

🌟 NOW HIRING: NURSERY WORKER 🌟

FPC Cheraw is looking for a caring, dependable person who loves children to serve as our Nursery Worker!

👶 ABOUT THE POSITION

The Nursery Worker provides a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children while their families participate in church services and activities. The safety and well-being of every child is our top priority.

QUALITIES WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

❤️ Must love children
🗣️ Have good communication skills with children and adults
🤝 Dependable and responsible
👶 Comfortable caring for young children, including changing diapers and assisting with bathroom needs
🍎 Assist with snacks and other basic needs
💪 Able to perform the physical activities required when caring for children
✅ Willing to complete the required criminal background check and follow the church's Child Protection Policy

⏰ TYPICAL SUNDAY SCHEDULE is 9:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

The Nursery Worker may also be scheduled for special events, services, or Wednesday night suppers. Additional pay is provided for these occasions.

📋 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Supervising and caring for children
• Maintaining a safe and orderly nursery
• Helping with children's needs
• Following church safety policies
• Preparing the nursery for other church programs

What a wonderful Rally Day we had today! We are so thankful for everyone who helped make this day such a meaningful celebration as we begin a new school year of ministry together! 🙏📚✝️

A special thanks to everyone who participated in our Blessing of the Backpacks & for the donated school supplies to help a local school in need. 🎒❤️

We are also grateful for our Sunday School teachers who gathered this morning to pray & prepare for the year ahead. 📖🙏

Last but not least, thank you to everyone who brought food, helped prepare, served, and stayed for our wonderful covered-dish luncheon! 🍽️😊
