To fully understand the joy of the empty tomb, we first have to stand at the foot of the cross. Join us Friday April 3rd at 7pm as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus, the weight of that moment, and the hope that was being written even in the middle of the darkness.

Before we celebrate the joy of Easter morning, we invite you to join us for Maundy Thursday as we step into the final night of Jesus’ life before the cross.

To fully understand the hope of the resurrection, we first have to walk through the betrayal, the meal, the prayer, the sacrifice, and the love that Jesus showed in His final hours. Join us Thursday at 7pm for a meaningful night of reflection as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

🌟 Join the Movement to Fight Hunger! 🌟

WWVHRC is a new regional partnership bringing together local organizations to tackle food insecurity—especially as families face uncertainty with federal SNAP benefits. Together, we’re stepping up to make sure no one in our community goes hungry!

You can be part of the difference! We’re collecting donations of food and funds to support local families in need. Not sure what to bring? Check out the list below for the most-needed shelf-stable items. Just box or bag your donations (no sorting needed!) and drop them off at Blue Mountain Community Church, 928 Sturm, before Sunday service that starts at 10am or Monday–Thursday, 9:30 AM–3:30 PM. Need another time? Call 509.529.1212 to schedule a drop-off!

1 Peter 4:12–13 “Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.”

Trials are not punishment but refinement. They connect us to Christ, who also suffered.

When difficulties come, shift your mindset. Instead of “Why me?” say “God, what are you shaping in me through this?”

1 Peter 4:10 "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. "

Spiritual gifts aren’t for show—they’re for service. Every believer has a role in building up others.

Identify your gift and use it. Ask: “Who can I serve this week with what God has given me?”

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8, N...

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8, NLT)

Above everything, Peter elevates love. Love is the glue that holds relationships and the church together.

Forgive quickly. Don’t let small offenses pile up—choose love over resentment this week.

“Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!” (1 Peter 3...

“Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!” (1 Peter 3:17, NLT)

Doing right may cost you something, but Peter says it’s worth it. Integrity matters more than comfort.

Don’t cut corners this week. In school, work, or relationships—choose integrity, even if it’s hard.
