Today at VBS we learned that God is ALWAYS our refuge, just like David took refuge in God when he was being chased by Saul. Even in hard times God wants us to seek refuge in Him, as He is always here for us.

The first day of VBS at Rainforest Falls. Today was so fun! Kids learned about God's Creation. They learned how St. Hildegard of Bigen composed music and songs about God and His creations, she was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012. The kids had a blast learning, creating, and singing praises to God.

The adventure begins tomorrow! We can’t wait to welcome all of our VBS participants and volunteers to Rainforest Falls for a wild week of faith, fun, and discovering the nature of God! 🌿

🌿 VBS Volunteers Needed! 🌿
Nearly half of our Lead Volunteer positions still need to be filled in order to make VBS happen!
We are looking for Class Leaders, a Story Time Coordinator, and adults to help fill schedule gaps with Games, Crafts, and Snacks & Saints.
None of these jobs require experience! Any number of days you can give is appreciated!

Calling all high school teens! Come join us and St. Joseph’s in Rowena for the Steubenville Lone Star Conference this summer.

The Steubenville Conference is a 3 day event for high school teens to encounter Christ through Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacraments, dynamic sessions, and small group time, produced by Franciscan University of Steubenville University.
