MANGUM’S FOOD PANTRY UPDATE
At Mangum Chapel, we have always believed in serving our community and helping those in need. After much prayer and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our current food pantry ministry.
While the pantry was able to help some families, the need was not as great as we had hoped. Rather than allowing resources to go unused, we are excited to announce a new partnership with the Mighty Moms Program, a local organization that works tirelessly to fight childhood hunger in Livingston Parish.
Each month, Mighty Moms collects certain food items and resources that are distributed to children in need, providing weekend food bags to help ensure they have meals when school is not in session. Their dedication and commitment make a real difference in the lives of local families, and we are honored to support their mission.
There are many ways you can help:
• Donate food items they are currently collecting
• Make a monetary donation
• Volunteer your time
• Organize a collection drive through your business, workplace, church, school, or community group
• Share their mission with others
Please don’t think your contribution is too small to matter. Every single item donated helps a child and supports a family in our community. Small acts of kindness add up to make a tremendous impact.
If you would like to get involved, please contact Mighty Moms directly.

Thank you for helping us continue to serve our neighbors and support children throughout Livingston Parish.
