Yesterday our congregation unanimously affirmed Clint and Shawn to serve as deacons. We praise God for saving these men and setting them apart for this ministry.

Deacons are exemplary servants entrusted with caring for the physical needs of the church, guarding the unity of the church, and freeing up the pastors for the ministry of the word and prayer.

These men join Chris Robinson who has faithfully served as our sole deacon for the past six years. We praise God for raising them up. Please pray for the power of the Spirit to anoint their ministry.

Announcement: We will not be having service tomorrow. During last night's storm, the main tent was destroyed.

Members, please help spread the word to any of our regular visitors.

Pray for the safety of everyone across Hawaii. Please pray the tents can be repaired or replaced in time for next week's service. Pray God give us a permanent home before the end of the year. ❤️

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST:

3/14 Update: There has been solid movement in the right direction but still several things that need to fall into place. Please continue praying!

For the past several years, we've prayed for God to give us this 9 acre property next door to where we currently meet. This morning we learned it's being listed on the market for $2 million dollars. Though we've aggressively saved for property since WCC started in 2019 and have a substantial amount ready for a down payment, we simply don't have $2 million.

Yesterday was a historic day for our church. We had the joy of unanimously affirming Josh and Kenny as pastors at WCC. It's the first time our church has ever raised up and affirmed men to serve as pastors at WCC. Praising God for his faithfulness in their lives and in the unity of our church ❤️

Mahalo nui to all our partners who helped us through this process. We look forward to celebrating together.

On Sunday we had the joy of baptizing Caitlyn and Haddon into membership! We praise God for the new life He's given them in Christ!

Here are the member vows they affirmed as they entered into covenant membership with us:

1. Do you believe that without Jesus you are a hopeless sinner who has rebelled
against God and deserves his righteous anger?

2. Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of sinners and do you
trust that Jesus’ death on the Cross has saved you from your sins?

3. Do you believe that God has adopted you as his child, and made you part of his family,
and that he wants you to live your life in deep relationships with your brothers and sisters in
this local Church?

4. Do you promise to rely on the Holy Spirit and obediently follow Jesus in everything, as His
servant, and His Missionary to your family, your neighbors, your co-workers, your enemies
and your friends?

5. As a member of Waiehu Community Church, do you promise to pray for God's Kingdom
to advance in Maui, Hawaii and among the Nations, and do you promise to give your time,
energy, and money generously to accomplish that goal?

6. Do you promise to love this diverse group of believers called Waiehu Community
Church? Will you follow our deacons, submit to our Pastors, and eagerly pursue and protect
this Church’s unity, diversity, love and purity?

Our vision is to build a community that proclaims Christ as King on Maui, in Hawaii, and among the nations.

An indespensible part of us fulfilling our vision is cultivating faithful gospel-partners all over the world. Because of that we're so grateful that is one of those trusted partners. We love them and support them in their vision to aquire a permanent building.

If 1000 people give $5000 or one of you gives $5 million, they'd have all they need. If you want to support gospel advance in New York City and the Bronx specifically, we encourage you to give generously to them!
