We were thankful for the opportunity to pray over Cooper Trigg on Sunday as he will no longer be serving with us at Bachelor Creek. Cooper has been a Huntington University Student the last 2 years and lead worship on Sunday nights in our student ministry and filled in for us on Sunday morning!

We are in the final days of prepping for VBS 2026! We can't wait to see all kids ages 3-5th grade on June 2-4! Preregistration closes on Friday, May 29 so we make sure we have enough supplies for everyone! We will take walk-in sign ups but please help us plan by signing up soon!

Memorial Day Weekend gives us an opportunity to pause, remember, and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

This Sunday at Bachelor Creek, we’re going to reflect on sacrifice, courage, and love in a powerful and meaningful way with a message titled “The Greatest Sacrifice” from John 15:12–13, where Jesus says:

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

During the message, Joel is going to share a true story of sacrifice and heroism that is both moving and unforgettable, a story fitting for Memorial Day Weekend that ultimately points us to the greatest sacrifice in history: Jesus Himself. At the cross, Jesus showed us what true love really looks like.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it is a reminder that we were never meant to carry life alone. Take time to check in on the people around you, speak words of hope, and lead with compassion.

No matter what you’re facing, you are seen and deeply loved by God. You don’t have to hide your hurt from Him. He is near in the middle of pain, faithful in the middle of struggle, and able to bring hope even in the darkest moments. Your circumstances do not define your worth, and your story is not over.

God can bring healing, purpose, and restoration through every season.
