Hi Ashland Family!

We're back with another week of our Camping With God family devotional!

This week we're learning that God has chosen a people to belong to Him. God chose the people of Israel to be His special people, and through Jesus, everyone who trusts in Him is invited to be part of God's family too!

📖 Read Together
Read Exodus 19:1–6, then 1 Peter 2:9–10 as a family. Talk about what it means to belong to God and how being part of His family changes the way we live.

💬 Talk Together
Here are a few questions to help your family continue the conversation:
• How do you think the Israelites felt when God chose them to be His people?
• What does it mean to you that God calls you part of His family?

📝 Family Activity
Celebrate being part of God's family! Spend some time together sharing a special treat and what makes each member of your family unique and special. Then remind one another that God knows each of us by name, loves us deeply, and has called us to follow Him. Finish by praying together and thanking God for making you part of His family.

🏕️ Weekly Challenge
We learned that God has always had a family, special people who He loves very much. This week, take some time to make a family tree together and explore where your family came from!

Thank you for faithfully leading your children to know and follow Jesus. We pray that, as you talk about what it means to belong to God's family this week, your whole family will grow in confidence that you are deeply loved, chosen, and called by Him.

Hi Ashland Family!

We're back with another week of our Camping With God family devotional!

This week we're learning that God always keeps His promises. Even when the Israelites had been waiting for hundreds of years, God was faithful to do exactly what He said He would do, and He is still faithful today.

📖 Read Together
Read Exodus 6:6–8 as a family. Talk about the promises God made to the Israelites and how He fulfilled them.

💬 Talk Together
Here are a few questions to help your family continue the conversation:
• What are some other promises God makes in the Bible?
• Why can we trust God's promises?
• Which promise of God encourages you the most right now?

📝 Family Activity
As a family, make a list of as many of God's promises as you can think of! Write them on sticky notes or a piece of paper and place them somewhere you'll see every day, like your refrigerator or a bedroom mirror. Throughout the week, take a few moments to read them together and thank God for His faithfulness.

🌈 Weekly Challenge
God gives us hope! Use sidewalk chalk to decorate your driveway or sidewalk with a Bible verse or encouraging message that reminds others of God's promises. We'd love to see your creations! Share a photo on social media and tag us, or email it to the church.

Thank you for faithfully leading your children to know and trust God. We pray that, as you talk about His promises together this week, your whole family will be encouraged by His faithfulness and reminded that He always keeps His word.
