Today we honor the dads, grandpas, spiritual fathers, and faithful men who keep choosing the Lord…not just with their words, but with their lives.

A godly father doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. He just keeps pointing his house back to Jesus.

3 TRAPS THAT QUIETLY POISON YOUR FAITH

The longer we follow God, the easier it is to fall into one of these.

Trap 1: thinking God owes you.

We show up, give a little, walk away from some things, and then wonder why God hasn't paid off.

But we couldn't earn it, we didn't deserve it, and we could never live up to it. He called us in anyway. He gave His life, and He offers it freely.

Trap 2: hoping others get what they deserve.

We absorb enough bad news and quietly start thinking, I hope God gives them what they deserve. But the grace poured out on us isn't something we earned, and it was never ours to withhold.

Trap 3: getting proud of the grace we were given.

The longer we follow God, the more we can start taking credit for where we've ended up. True humility sounds like: I haven't earned it, I don't deserve it, and He gives it freely anyway.
