Isaiah 26:1–4 reminds us that our security is not found in perfect circumstances—it is found in a faithful God. Isaiah speaks of a strong city whose salvation is established by God Himself, then gives us a promise that has carried believers through uncertain seasons: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

That word keep means something when life feels like it is trying to take everything out of you.

God is a Keeper. He keeps your mind when anxiety tries to overwhelm you. He keeps your heart when disappointment tries to harden it. He keeps you steady when everything around you feels unstable. And He gives peace that is not dependent on everything going right—it comes from keeping our minds stayed on Him.

Isaiah doesn’t tell us to trust God only when we understand what He is doing. Verse 4 says, “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” In other words, circumstances may change, people may change, seasons may change, but the One holding you does not change.

Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change the situation that we overlook the miracle of how He has been keeping us in the middle of it. You may have cried, but He kept you. You may have been disappointed, but He kept you. You may have experienced moments when you didn’t know how you were going to make it, but somehow, you are still here.

Luke 13:10–17 introduces us to a woman who had been bent over for eighteen long years, unable to straighten herself up. For nearly two decades, she lived with a condition that affected the way she walked, the way she moved, and likely the way others saw her. Yet despite what had her bent, she still made her way into the synagogue—and on that Sabbath day, Jesus saw her.

What makes this encounter so powerful is that the woman never asked Jesus to heal her. She did not call His name, push through a crowd, or beg for a miracle. **Jesus saw her, called her forward, and set her free.** While others may have become accustomed to seeing her bent over, Jesus saw beyond her condition. He saw a daughter of Abraham who had been bound long enough.

Sometimes life has a way of bending us. Disappointment can bend us. Grief can bend us. Rejection, fear, pain, setbacks, and years of carrying burdens can leave us living beneath what God intended for us. But Luke 13 reminds us that **being bent does not mean you are broken beyond restoration.** You may have been carrying it for years, but one encounter with Jesus can change what years of struggle could not.

When Jesus touched this woman, she immediately stood up straight and began praising God. Her posture changed because her condition changed. What had held her down for eighteen years could not withstand one word and one touch from Jesus.

Join us for **“Bent on a Blessing”** as we discover what happens when Jesus sees us in the places where life has left us bowed down. Your struggle may have changed your posture, but it has not changed your identity. Your condition does not cancel your calling, and the length of your struggle does not limit the power of God.

You may have come in bent, but you don’t have to leave the same way.

Ephesians 5:20–21 reminds us that a life filled with the Spirit is reflected not only in what we say, but in how we live. Paul calls believers to give thanks to God always and for everything and to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Gratitude and humility are not simply attitudes we display when life is going well—they are characteristics of a life surrendered to Jesus.

In a world that often encourages us to complain about what we lack, demand our own way, and put ourselves first, Scripture gives us a different standard. We are called to live with thankful hearts, recognizing God’s goodness even when circumstances are difficult. At the same time, we are called to consider others, serve one another, and allow our reverence for Christ to shape the way we treat the people around us.

Ephesians 5 teaches us that gratitude changes our perspective, and submission changes our posture. When we truly understand who God is and what He has done for us, thanksgiving becomes more than something we say—it becomes a way of life. And when Christ is at the center of our relationships, we no longer have to fight to always be first, right, or in control.

Join us as we discover what it means to live a life marked by gratitude, humility, and reverence for Christ. Whether life is going according to plan or we are walking through an unexpected season, we can still find a reason to give God thanks and choose to honor Him in the way we love and serve one another.

Before the man in Mark 5 ever asked Jesus for help, Jesus had already stepped onto the shore. He entered a place everyone else avoided and encountered a man everyone else had given up on. Living among the tombs, bound by chains, isolated, tormented, and considered uncontrollable, this man’s life looked like a complete mess. Yet Jesus was not intimidated by what had taken over his life.

In a powerful story of deliverance, restoration, and transformation, Jesus demonstrates what happens “When Jesus Steps Into Your Mess.” The same man who had been crying among the tombs and breaking chains was soon found sitting, clothed, and in his right mind. One encounter with Jesus changed everything.

Just like this man, we can find ourselves bound by things we cannot seem to break, isolated by our struggles, or living in places emotionally and spiritually that God never intended for us to stay. But Mark 5 reminds us that no mess is too messy, no bo***ge is too strong, and no situation is too far gone for Jesus.

Join us as we discover what happens when Jesus steps into the places we try to hide—the pain, the chaos, the bo***ge, and the brokenness. When Jesus steps into your mess, chains can break, minds can be restored, and your story can become a testimony.

Because Jesus doesn’t just meet you in your mess—He has the power to bring you out of it.

The man in Mark 5 was bound, isolated, and living in a place of death. Yet Jesus went looking for him. What others had given up on, Jesus was still willing to reach.
Sometimes life can leave us feeling trapped by our past, our pain, or the things we cannot seem to break free from. But Mark 5 reminds us that Jesus is not afraid to step into our mess.

What has you bound may be strong, but it is not stronger than Jesus. When Jesus spoke, the chains broke, and the man who was once tormented became a testimony. And that’s the beautiful part: God doesn’t just deliver you for you—He delivers you so your life can tell somebody else what He can do.

Today, remember: Your mess is not too messy for Jesus, your chains are not too strong for Jesus, and your story is not too broken for Jesus to use.
