As parents, we all want to give our kids opportunities to grow.

Sports. Dance. Music. Clubs. Tutoring. Family time. These are all good things, and they all help shape our children in different ways.

But if we're honest, many of us have also wondered...

How do I help my daughter grow in her relationship with Christ? (That seems intimidating!)

How can my daughter grow in her confidence? (So many things can tear her down!)

How do I make room for that? (There's so much on the calendar!)

That's exactly why we created Bridges.

Bridges isn't meant to compete with the other activities your daughter loves. It's here to come alongside them by helping develop the part of her that will last forever: her relationship with Jesus.

Every Tuesday evening, girls in 3rd-5th grade will be encouraged to:

💜 Build confidence rooted in Christ.

🌱 Grow in God's Word through Scripture memory and biblical teaching.

🤝 Form friendships with girls who encourage one another.

🎀 Learn practical etiquette and social skills that cultivate kindness, respect, and confidence.

💕 Be mentored by caring Christian women who will remind them of their God-given value and purpose.

The elementary years are such an important season. This is when our girls begin asking questions about who they are, where they belong, and what gives them value. We want them to discover those answers in Jesus.

If you've been looking for a place that will intentionally invest in your daughter's faith while she builds meaningful friendships and has fun, we'd love to welcome her to Bridges this fall.

COLLECTING SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Our local mission project will assist the Nettie Hebden United Women of Faith Circle in collecting basic school supplies for the children who attend the Club Sandwich After-School Program at Wesley Grace UMC in Norfolk. Basic school supplies, including backpacks, binders, folders, pencils, pens, erasers, crayons, markers, notebook paper, etc. are appreciated. A bin will be available in the Narthex during VBS and in the acolyte hallway after VBS through July 26 for any donations. Thank you!
