A BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYER
(for families, parents, and caregivers)

Dear Father,

School is in, and with it our family enters a fresh season, a revised schedule, and a new routine. Please help my student(s) this school year, in academics and art and music and sport - yes! But also in learning how to do unto others as they would have others do unto them. Help our family to support each other in our daily tasks of work and school. Please forgive us for times of impatience or lack of consideration. Please help me know how to best engage with my student's school life and support them. And help me know how to encourage teachers and school personnel, and be a positive presence.

In the moments when parenting feels overwhelming, thank you for your empowering grace. Help me remember how much you love and care for my child. May this school year overflow with your goodness.
